Beyond Traditional Education
Are You Ready to Educate the Next Generation?
Beyond Traditional Education
Rethinking Your Educational Practice, Well-Being & Professional Growth in a Changing World
We are educating a generation of AI-native children in a world where technology, education, and child and adolescent development are evolving faster than ever before.
Yet, many of our educational approaches remain rooted in traditional models. As the world changes, so must the way we understand, connect with, and support developing learners.
What kind of educator are you today, and what kind of educator will the future need you to become?
Join us for the first gathering of the Trauma-Informed EduCoach™ Monthly Learning Series , a meaningful space for educators, educational leaders, and professionals working with children and adolescents to learn, reflect, connect, and grow together.
Reflecting on Your Journey as an Educator
In this special year-end gathering, we will look back at your journey as an educator, particularly over the past year.
What shaped your educational philosophy and teaching style? How have you connected with your learners? What challenges have you navigated?
And how have these experiences affected your emotional well-being, nervous system, and professional identity?
Reimagining Education for an AI-Native World
Together, we will explore the evolving demands of education in an AI-native world, identify opportunities to strengthen our developmental, relational, trauma-informed, and coaching competencies, and begin creating a personal and professional development roadmap for the year ahead.
Whether you are a classroom educator, school leader, learning specialist, or professional working with young people, you are welcome.
Because the future of education begins with the educators willing to grow alongside the children they serve.
Hosted by Lux Hettiyadura
Lux Hettiyadura is an internationally recognized Child & Family Development Specialist whose work bridges developmental psychology, attachment, neuroscience, and nervous system regulation.
At the heart of her work is the understanding that our earliest relationships and experiences shape how we connect with others, express our emotions, and experience love throughout our lives. Lux explores how attachment patterns, emotional safety, family dynamics, and our relational environments influence the ways we give and receive love. Her approach moves beyond surface-level behaviours to explore the deeper developmental experiences that shape how we understand ourselves and relate to others.
Integrating insights from developmental science, coaching, and somatic practices, Lux helps individuals and families develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and more conscious ways of relating. Her work invites us to recognize how our own patterns influence our relationships and how meaningful connection can be nurtured through awareness, understanding, and practice.
