Mindfulness Circle
A Gentle Space to Slow Down, Reconnect with Yourself, and Find Moments of Stillness in Everyday Life.
What does it really mean to love yourself?
Is self-love simply about taking care of yourself, or does it begin with how you understand, accept, and relate to who you are?
We often find it easier to show kindness, patience, and compassion toward others than to extend those same qualities to ourselves. We may recognize our strengths, yet remain critical of our imperfections, or understand what we need without always giving ourselves permission to honor those needs.
But self-love is more than a feeling. It is something we can cultivate through awareness, acceptance, and intentional practice.
Acts of Self-Love is a personal development workshop that invites you to explore your relationship with yourself in a supportive and reflective space.
Three Essential Aspects of Self-Love
Together, we will explore three essential aspects of self-love that help us build a more compassionate and meaningful relationship with ourselves.
01. Deepen Self-Awareness
Understand yourself more fully, including your emotions, needs, beliefs, and the ways you relate to yourself.
02. Cultivate Self-Acceptance
Explore what it means to embrace yourself with greater kindness and compassion, even when things feel difficult or imperfect.
03. Embody Self-Love
Discover practical ways to bring self-love into your everyday life through your choices, boundaries, and the way you care for yourself.
Building a More Compassionate Relationship With Yourself
Through guided reflection and meaningful exploration, this workshop offers an opportunity to reconnect with yourself and consider how you can build a more compassionate relationship with who you are.
Whether you are beginning your journey of self-discovery or looking to deepen the relationship you already have with yourself, you are welcome.
Because self-love is not only about how we feel about ourselves. It is reflected in how we understand, accept, and care for ourselves, one conscious act at a time.

Hosted by Lux Hettiyadura
Lux Hettiyadura is an internationally recognized Child & Family Development Specialist whose work bridges developmental psychology, attachment, neuroscience, and nervous system regulation.
At the heart of her work is the understanding that our earliest relationships and experiences shape how we connect with others, express our emotions, and experience love throughout our lives. Lux explores how attachment patterns, emotional safety, family dynamics, and our relational environments influence the ways we give and receive love. Her approach moves beyond surface-level behaviours to explore the deeper developmental experiences that shape how we understand ourselves and relate to others.
Integrating insights from developmental science, coaching, and somatic practices, Lux helps individuals and families develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and more conscious ways of relating. Her work invites us to recognize how our own patterns influence our relationships and how meaningful connection can be nurtured through awareness, understanding, and practice.
