Beyond the Mind
Beyond the Mind: Reconnecting With Your Body, Heart & Self
Nervous System Embodiment Method™ | A Journey of Self-Awareness, Compassion & Connection
We live in a fast-moving world, constantly thinking, planning, responding, and navigating endless demands on our attention. Between work, relationships, responsibilities, social media, and the digital world, many of us spend so much time in our heads that we rarely pause to notice how we are truly feeling.
We care for our families, show up for the people we love, and fulfill our responsibilities. Yet, somewhere along the way, the person we often forget to care for is ourselves.
When was the last time you genuinely paused to ask yourself:
How am I really doing? How is my body feeling? What are my true needs?
Join us for a gentle, experiential gathering through the Nervous System Embodiment Method™ (NSEM) , an invitation to step away from the constant noise of everyday life and reconnect with yourself through your body, emotions, and nervous system.
Reflecting, Reconnecting & Reimagining the Year Ahead
Together, we will reflect on the year that has passed, explore how our experiences and challenges may have affected our emotional and physical well-being, and bring compassionate awareness to what our bodies have been carrying.
Through guided reflection and gentle embodiment practices, we will begin to reimagine how we wish to care for ourselves in the year ahead, exploring intentions rooted in self-love, kindness, rest, and respect for our bodies.
This is an educational and experiential well-being gathering, not a therapy session or medical treatment. All practices are invitational, and participants are welcome to modify, pause, or opt out of any activity according to their comfort and needs.

Hosted by Lux Hettiyadura
Lux Hettiyadura is an internationally recognized Child & Family Development Specialist whose work bridges developmental psychology, attachment, neuroscience, and nervous system regulation.
At the heart of her work is the understanding that our earliest relationships and experiences shape how we connect with others, express our emotions, and experience love throughout our lives. Lux explores how attachment patterns, emotional safety, family dynamics, and our relational environments influence the ways we give and receive love. Her approach moves beyond surface-level behaviours to explore the deeper developmental experiences that shape how we understand ourselves and relate to others.
Integrating insights from developmental science, coaching, and somatic practices, Lux helps individuals and families develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and more conscious ways of relating. Her work invites us to recognize how our own patterns influence our relationships and how meaningful connection can be nurtured through awareness, understanding, and practice.
